Dear Women,
We are excited to share with you that Lighting and Learning will be starting a new sefer this Friday night, October 15. Together we will be learning the book “Master Your Words, Master Your Life” by Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Lowy. The book was published by Artscroll and is available on their website.
Lighting and Learning, a project of Teach613, was started over 10 years ago as a zechus for cholei yisroel. Women are encouraged to light Shabbos candles on time and spend a few minutes learning from a sefer. Each week one section is studied independently either after candle lighting or sometime during Shabbos. Some women join together with neighbors to learn, others spend time learning with their family, and others learn on their own.
May our devotion to the mitzvos of lighting candles on time and learning Torah together be a merit for all cholei yisroel.
